Great Mexican & American Food
A few months ago, Rosie's Mexican Restaurant opened its doors in the Sharyland, (Mission, Texas) area, and my boyfriends family and I really enjoy our weekend brunch here. On this occasion we visited for lunch (it was quite full on a Sunday afternoon) and they did not disappoint. I am aware that there are more than a handful of Mexican restaurants in our community(putting that lightly), but Rosie's has not only amazing food, but great service. Sometimes I feel some (not all) Mexican restaurants lack on their customer service. The reason I have picked Rosie's for this particular blog is because I always leave satisfied, and I hope in supporting them, you too will admire their hard work.
Gimme Dat Guac!
Our waiter was really nice and although he seemed swamped, his attitude and service never fluctuated. He was very informed and respectful. The staff is always quite serious about their job and we've always have great service.
Chipotle Shrimp & Bacon
Quesadilla+sides-$7.49 (that's less than any full sized combo, just saying..)
Beans You Can Appreciate
I guess I hadn't realized i'm on a quest for some mean tasting beans; Good thing the valley is full of places to satisfy my itch. An assortment of pieces of jalapeno, tomato, delicious bacon, cilantro, and perfectly textured beans make this side a favorite every time. They are spicy, fresh, and just plain great. I could drink their bean juice all day... Is that a weird thing to say??
Beans- $1.49 (included in quite a bit of their dishes)
Caldo de Pollo
Soups- Cup $2.49, Small Bowl $5.25, Large Bowl (pictured)- $5.99
Also Worth a Mention-
The all day breakfast- I haven't had a breakfast platter I didn't love here.
Sweet Tea- This is one of my favorite places for sweet tea. I could drink gallons.
I am more than aware there are many other Mexican restaurants in our community, like I said, but this is just one of the many that I support because I feel they are doing everything right, from the food to the environment. Sometimes simplicity is key, and Rosie's has really got it going on.
